The first prototype of ‘YANAN brand’ heavy military off-road vehicle SX250 was completed trial in 1970, developed to stereotypes & producdtion in 1974 and entered into the army in 1975. SX250 is the first generation of heavy-duty military off-road vehicles from China.

Shaanxi Automobile Commercial Vehicle Industrial Park officially put into operation in 2005, which has an annual output 150000 production.
2017
The third generation of military vehicles fully support national defense construction
After fierce competition, SHACMAN ranked the first with absolute advantage：21 point ahead the runner-up，to be the only manufacturers winning a bid for the third generation heavy military off- road vehicle of Chinese People's Liberation Army in January 2017. Shaanxi Automobile‘s portion has more than 95 percent in China’s heavy military off-road vehicle market.
